I received your book the other day and wrapped it up and gave it to my husband as a gift "to us from me". It comes at a timely stage in our marriage that just may be the life preserver we needed. For the last few months we have been going to bed at night and foolishly taking the worries of our world to our pillows. The last thoughts we had before we slipped into our subconscious sleep were ones of negativity, stress and defeat. I told my husband that was going to change. Now, we anxiously turn in a half hour earlier, pulling ourselves away from the "idiot box," and we take turns reading to each other a chapter a night from your book. It speaks to us in a comforting, reassuring language that gives us hope and inspiration. We now see ourselves as survivors, and we have put our values back into proper perspectives.
